MCN held an open meeting with Nätverket Renare Mark Norr in Skellefteå, November 3rd, 2009. More than 50 industry professionals from the northern region of Sweden attended the meeting.

The polar PAC Network at MCN was represented at the ISPAC International Society for Polycyclic Aromatic Compounds) conference, Sept 20-24. Staffan Lundstedt gave a presentation entiteled "Semi-polar polycyclic aromatic compounds at contaminated sites"´, in Charleston, SC, USA. For more information see www.ispac.org |

MCN prepares proposal for EU FP7 call ENV-2010 |

Umeå University and other partners within and outside MCN are preparing a proposal for the ongoing call by EU DG Research. The proposal will adress the topic, ENV.2010.3.1.5-2 Environmental technologies for brownfield regeneration. A first workshop meeting was held with potential partners at the North and Mid-Sweden building in Brussels, on September 18th. Deadline for submission has been set to January 5th 2010. |
