MCN Researcher and project leader Jurate Kumpiene, LTU has been awarded the prize of Skytteanska samfundet 2009. Ph.D. Jurate Kumpiene is a young, female researcher whos extensive work on developing new methods for treating contaminated soil motivates the award, according to the committee.
